This Privacy Policy explains how MemeID (“MemeID,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use memeid.org and related MemeID services.
MemeID is designed around a public blockchain and non-custodial wallet model.
We do not require you to create a traditional username-and-password account in order to connect a compatible Solana wallet.
2.Information We May Process
Depending on how you use MemeID, we may process the following categories of information.
Wallet information
When you connect a wallet, we may process:
- your public Solana wallet address;
- names associated with that wallet;
- public on-chain account information;
- transaction signatures;
- public transaction data.
We do not receive or store your private key or seed phrase.
Blockchain information
Because MemeID uses Solana, we may retrieve publicly available blockchain data relating to:
- MemeID registrations;
- wallet addresses;
- transactions;
- program accounts;
- timestamps;
- ownership records.
Blockchain data is public and may also be independently accessed by other parties.
Technical information
When you use the website, our hosting or infrastructure providers may automatically process technical information such as:
- IP address;
- browser type;
- device type;
- operating system;
- request timestamps;
- referring URLs;
- error logs;
- approximate location derived from IP address;
- security and performance information.
3.Information We Do Not Need
MemeID does not require your:
- private key;
- seed phrase;
- wallet recovery phrase.
Never provide this information to MemeID or anyone claiming to represent MemeID.

- provide domain availability checks;
- display domain ownership;
- submit and verify registration transactions;
- display your MemeID names;
- display recent registrations;
- operate and maintain the website;
- detect abuse or security issues;
- troubleshoot errors;

5.Blockchain Data Is Public
Information written to Solana is public.
This may include your wallet address and MemeID names registered by that wallet.
Because blockchain records are decentralized and append-only, we generally cannot delete or modify data that has already been permanently recorded on Solana.
If you do not want information publicly associated with your wallet address, consider whether you should submit that information to a public blockchain.
6.Legal Bases Where Applicable
Where laws such as the UK GDPR or EU GDPR apply, we may process personal data on one or more of the following bases:
- performance of a service you request;
- our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving MemeID;
- compliance with legal obligations;
- your consent, where consent is required.
The applicable basis depends on the specific processing activity.
7.RPC and Blockchain Infrastructure
MemeID uses blockchain infrastructure providers to communicate with the Solana network.
RPC providers may receive information such as:
- wallet addresses included in RPC requests;
- IP addresses;
- request metadata;
- blockchain queries.
Those providers may process information under their own privacy policies.
The production website may use third-party RPC infrastructure rather than the public Solana RPC endpoint.
8.Wallet Providers
When you connect a third-party wallet, your interaction with that wallet is also governed by the wallet provider’s own terms and privacy practices.
MemeID does not control how wallet providers handle information.
9.Blockchain Explorers
MemeID may link to blockchain explorers such as Solscan or Solana Explorer.
When you visit those services, they may independently process information about your visit.
10.Analytics
MemeID may use privacy-conscious analytics or similar tools to understand website usage and improve the Service.
If analytics tools are enabled, they may process information such as:
- pages visited;
- approximate location;
- browser/device information;
- referring source;
- interaction events.
If MemeID does not currently use analytics, this section does not mean that analytics are necessarily active.
Where required by law, consent will be obtained before using non-essential cookies or similar technologies.

Public blockchain information is already publicly available and does not remain private simply because it is displayed through MemeID.

Public blockchain records may remain available indefinitely because MemeID does not control the Solana blockchain.

However, no website, blockchain, wallet, RPC service, or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You are responsible for keeping your wallet and credentials secure.

- objection;
- portability;
- withdrawal of consent.
These rights are subject to applicable law and technical limitations.
In particular, we may not be able to delete information that has been permanently recorded on a public blockchain.

MemeID does not state that it sells personal information unless and until such practices are actually introduced and disclosed.
